Just wondering how the colored ink/markers work? Has anyone tried these? Do they dry quick so you could run back thru the machine and cut once you have used the marker to outline the image?

The markers are fun to work with.

1. You choose your item to cut and put replace the blade housing with the color pen. You may need to change your pressure to low.

2. Press cut.

3. Then Press Load Mat. So the pen goes back to the beginning.
Carefully replace pen with Blade housing. Try not to move the blade carriage. You may need to change pressure to whatever you usually use.

4. Then Choose your item to cut or press Repeat Last. And Press Cut.

I Don't like the cut lines on my cuts when I use the pens so if there is a blackout of the cut I want, I choose that to cut instead. I

If you need more help just ask.

Yes you can do that, just don't unload mat to keep the alignment from being off. Just put a little scrap paper under the marker to keep from accidently touching the paper and marking on it before you switch back to the blade.

Here are a couple of recent layouts I did and used markers. Splash has the shadow cut behind it but I welded pad to splash and used markers on the word fun and pad.
The other layout, I used the marker on the elephant and monkey. Cruzin with papa welded and then I "cut" with markers first before cutting. Not sure if you are using CCR but all these designs were done using ccr

Oh ok those are cute! Thanks for the info and for sharing your layouts.

I was in hopes that the markers could be used for text.

Thanks,
Teri
