I have only on occasion had times when everything would freeze up for a little while when I'm working on a project. I have never experienced that when CUTTING. Are you on older computers? What internet browser do you use? Are you on wireless? Do you have DSL or higher connection to internet? Just curious! Char Edited by user Thursday, January 31, 2013 1:09:45 PM(UTC)

Seem to have a similar problem, with CCR freezing while trying to design. It is SO frustrating. My daughter was trying to design a birthday card last night, and after nearly an hour, she gave up. I wouldn't have minded if the card had been complicated, but in the hour she had managed to put 6 shapes, and 2 welded shapes - not exactly rocket-science or heavy-duty 'computer-memory' usage. The computer is an i5 processor - new at Christmas, so definitely not old or slow, using Windows7, (also tried today on my WinXP computer, still the same!) our broadband is the best we can get for our location, seems to have no problems with anything else. Process of elimination - I'd say it was down to CCR! I find it very annoying that we cannot save designs we have created to our computers, only to the CCR server. (Using a Cricut mini by the way)

My laptop is only about 6 months old using windows 7 it has and i5 core intel processor and like my orginal post the only thing that freezes is CCR while creating layouts for cutting. Nothing else freezes even using my other cutter their software don't freeze like CCR does. I have to sit and wait until CCR unfreezes or I just get frustrated and close it out. I have been having this issue for quite a while now even before I bought my other cutter. So I know it is not a software conflict.

Why don't we try the comparisons....I use: Computers: Windows XP (ten years old) AND Windows 7; 64-bit (one year old) Internet Browser: Internet Explorer Expression is used on XP MINI is used on Windows 7 ADOBE AIR: 3.5.0.1060 BUILD: 179 (in CCR) NORTON ANTIVIRUS (I have antivirus that came with my computer TURNED OFF at all times...Norton actually requests this....I LOVE how Norton protects my three comuputers) You cannot run Design Studio AND CCR at the same time (if anyone might be doing so) Char Edited by user Thursday, February 07, 2013 11:36:13 AM(UTC)
