I love these folders! I bought the set a month ago, and found the perfect use for them this past weekend. Friends of ours took us to the Zoo on Friday, so I made them a Thank You card using all 4 folders. It was so much fun trying different techniques on the different prints. I can't wait for more animal-related occasions to come up! Enjoy! JulieClawser attached the following image(s):

Melissa Merkel wrote:How did u get the different colors? I used a different technique on each print: Cheetah - Took orange cardstock, ran it through the bug, and dabbed it with black ink Crocodile - Took olive cardstock, ran it through the bug, then used Stampin' Up Crystal Accents and painted it over the whole surface evenly - looks and feels just like an alligator purse! Zebra - Took Black cardstock, ran it through the bug, and filled in the debossed areas with white liquid pearls Peacock - Took Turquoise cardstock, ran it through the bug, and sprayed olive branch Glimmer Mist on the whole surface. When that dried, I used Waterfall Stickles and traced the feather lines, then colored the eye of the feather in with Gold Stickles and added one gold gem for dimension. When using the peacock folder, use heavy cardstock and only run it through once - the folder has so many embossing points, and the paper stretches so much, that my first run of paper tore in the folder. Hope this helps!

I love your card. I have looked at that set at my local Hobby Lobby several times and just love it. But, like you, I wasn't sure how/when I would use it. Thanks, too, for sharing how you made each square. So cool!
