Who remembers the Polaroid Swinger instant camera? I got one for one of my birthdays in the late 60s. Remember the smell of that coating chemical that came on a roller thingie? Check out this old commercial with Ali Magraw and jingle by Barry Manilow: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zh6j3Rr3C9AAlso, check out this neat idea for a mini-album using the Swinger: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vyLk8OUVUDg

The Swinger was my very first camera and I loved it! I still have all of the photos taken with it. I went on to buy other Polaroids as I got older and had more cash, but the Swinger will always be special to me.
Thanks for sharing a fond memory.

We had a polaroid instant camera back in the early 70's when I was a kid....I'll have to check at my parent's house to see if any remnants of the camera are around LOL. I watched your youtube show about your mim album inside the camera, what a nifty idea.

Oh yes, I remember the Swinger Camera. My older Sister received one for Christmas back in '66 or '67. What fun we had with it. And it actually took pretty good pics too. Gosh, I wonder what happened to it. I'll have to ask my Sister if she still has it. I love how it has been transformed into a mini photo album case for some of the old Swinger pics ... that was fabulous and such a creative idea. TFS!
