Hi Ladies - I LOVE making cards and I know most of you do also.... but I really like to send and receive cards that are at least 5x7 in size. So I thought I would set up a swap where we will make the larger cards for one another.

Choose from the following themes/ subject matter and let your partner know what theme(s) of cards you would like. Your partner can make all 5 cards identical, or make 5 completely different cards for you, depending upon her ENERGY level ! Woot or what you decide together.

You will mail your cards with a matching envelope please, directly to your partner. You must post a Tracking number on the thread and a photo of your cards before you send them.

Here are the themes :

1. Adult birthday (can be mixed for man or woman)
2. Child Birthday (can be mixed boy & girl)
3. Easter
4. Anniversary / Wedding / Bridal
5. Get Well
6. Thinking of You / Friendship
7. Sympathy
8. New Baby
9. Graduation / Teacher Thanks
10.Butterflies and/or Dragonflies (all occasion)
11. All Occasion card with no sentiment that you can add your own sentiment in later
12. Christmas (yep ! that is right - it is never too soon to start for Christmas 2013 !)


If there is another theme you would rather have, please let me know.

I will close the sign-ups when we have 10 members or by February 10th, and assign partners.
You will then have until March 30th to mail out your cards. If you are doing Easter cards, you will need to mail them out sooner to your partner please...

Greetings to our hostess, Penny and Denise. Cards are the first thing I ever made with my Cricut Expression. I didn't know what I was doing back then, hadn't viewed any techniques yet from the forums and they were pretty awful and funny looking.Blushing

Barbara, I'm glad you liked the card. I had never done a card for a male. I really tried to make it fancy but not embellish so much that it was girly.

Made my first 5x7 for someone . Usually make the little ones. This is a nice size to add embellies. Have a friend who is an artist and may be joining us soon.

I'm up for anything it depends on you and the amount of time you can to devote to this swap. I'm on short hours (40) for the winter and have plenty of time until spring starts then I switch to (54 hours)and life gets a little more complicated.

Hi Penny....I have a new vic...errr partner yay......5 Easter cards would be awesome. All adult, please with a non generic male/female theme if that is OK. What type of cards are you looking for? I too can mix and match if you want. My youngest is in school all day, hubby sleeps during the day and works nights so it is just the doggy and I all day in my room.

I wouldnt mind having 3 adult birthday cards and a sympathy card and a Friendship card...
I always need those and it is hard to keep cranking enough of them out. Last week a client's husband died and I was sick and needed a Sympathy card, and had to send DH out to buy one (yuck!) but I could not get out of the bed for a few days - had to take it.OhMyGod
