Hi all. I'm pretty new to Cricut. I have an Expressions machine that I've used a little for scrapbooking and have really become interested in doing cards. I'm far from making them look amazingly professional like other members. Which brings me to my question! I'd like to do invitations for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. She loves Disney princesses and that's what we're doing the theme around. I bought the Rock Princess cartridge because it has several different kinds of crowns I'd like to use for the invitations. What I really want to do is to make the actual crown the invitation, instead of having it on an actual card. Is there a (pretty) way I can take two identical crowns and somehow connect them together to open up with the party information on the inside? Thank you so much for any help!

The crown on page 38 of Rock Princess or page 39 should work fine. In order to do shaped cards you would cut two of the shadows out score the back one about an inch or so down, use heavy duty adhesive and then glue the detailed top parts to each. See video link from you tube. The Paper Variety - Shaped Card Tutorial
Hope this helps you!
