Same thing happened to me with the pics, I was using chrome and couldn't see them, I tried Firefox and couldn't see them so I went to IE (which I hate) and now I can view them in the other two.
Well ladies I have three objectives done, and I'm really happy with them. Hope my SS will like them.

I can see the pic in the first post, but not the other 2. I don't know enough about computers to be able to fix it. I'll keep checking back. Have a good day! Laura

I can see the pics now. They are cute, and would make nice cards for nieces and nephews.
I only have one directive done. I need to figure out everything, get to Joanne's w/ my coupons and then really get going next week. I was hoping to only buy a few small things for my creations, but the craft goddess has other plans.

I know what you mean. I needed one item for an idea I had, and I tend to be a little OCD so last saturday I went Hobby Lobby, AC Moore and Michaels. Of course I got more than the one item I needed but that craft goddess had other plans and hopefully I won't need to shop for sometime.

My lil shopping expedition at Michaels last week gave me a survey coupon that would get me $5 off a $25 purchase ( easy for me to get to ) So I'm stocking up on the coupons to hit all the craft stores this week Lori

Jean, I read that post about pics and then I went and looked to see if I had everything checked in the boxes, as suggested. I did not have the very last one checked, so I checked it.
I think it helped as there have been some pictures I would have to click on to see but now they appear to be visible to me without having to click on them to open up. So thanks!
I still can not get onto the MB my normal way. Still getting that maintenance notice. Drives me nuts!
Hopefully this will get solved soon for everyone.
Glad that you gals are having some fun with shopping and gathering your ideas and starting to craft.
I'm a little busy this week putting a swap together to mail by Saturday, so I am not posting much. I do find opportunities to sneak on and check the threads, just not doing much posting myself. But I'm here!

Gwynne, The pictures are visible now, thank you. Jean, That link is like reading Russian to me. I'm not going to pretend I understand any of it, and frankly I don't want to. But thank you for the link. If I have troubles I can ask my brother to help.(he's an IT guy.) I started another project yesterday and so far so good. If it comes out as I visioned it I'll be pretty happy. I'm not crazy about the first one I did and a redo may be necessary. I'm going to ask bff her opinion tomorrow. Then to Archiver's for some paper, she has the best eye for design so I know anything she helps me pick will be perfect.

I've been receiving PMs from several of you this week, so I know you're working on this swap, but please get into the habit of checking in on the thread weekly and definitely within a 10 day period. It's just good practice for future swaps to get into the habit, if nothing else.
Thanks!

Some for this swap and some just for me Lori Do michaels and joannes take multiple coupons at once? Where do you get them? I just get emails and they are for one 40 or 50% off item. I never get them in the mail even after signing up multiple times at the stores. Maybe they dont do direct mail in all areas? I will have to ask next time.

they don't usually let you use but one coupon per sale and one coupon per day too. You would have to try going back through the line with a new transaction to use another coupon. And sometimes it just depends on the policy of the store or who is in a good mood or a bad mood that day. lol
It's frustrating for me as I have to travel a half hour or so to get to the craft stores....so chances are I am not making the trip again during the week to stop in and use another coupon on a different day. But yet for those that live but a mile from the store...they can stop in every day to use a coupon - one per day.
So I just always wish that if your driver's license shows you live X miles away, then you could use at least two coupons.... with the price of gas, would otherwise defeat the purpose of using coupons if I have to spend $8 in gas each time I drive up there several times in the same week!

I can't believe it's Friday already! I never did find the time to look at the rest of the directives to see what tips or hints or suggestions or pictures I could post to help your creative minds jump start! Sorry!
Not sure that I'll find time this weekend either. So we'll shoot for next week now.

I have been able to use multiple coupons in one transaction BUT only if one is a percent off entire purchase and the other is a percent off one item. those are the best weeks to shop especially if the percent off entire purchase coupon includes sale items.

That blizzard looks crazy! Hope everyone is safe and has power! I went to J's with my friend yesterday and was able to use 4-40%off, She gave me 2 Michaels, Had one on my phone, and 1 in my hand. PLUS 20% entire purchase! YAY! The cashier was very nice and accommodating. Even with a long line. I got out only spending $16! They did not have everything I needed however, so Michaels is in my future. I did not see the YES glue that was suggested for covering mini albums which was the main reason I went. ARGH! Any other suggestions? Also-I'm in the altered bingo card swap and want to attach a stick-pin to the top of the card. any suggestions? Thanks, LA Edited by user Saturday, February 09, 2013 6:57:21 AM(UTC)

I got the YES glue at michael's after looking at hobby lobby and acmoore. It is worth the money. I found it in the glue section not the scrapbook section, it is quite a large size and is white with dark blue writing.
How about hot glue for your stick pin.

That YES paste is well worth the money, trust me on that! But it does cut the expense down when you can use a coupon, for sure. It lasts forever, and it's the size of a Noxzema tub.
In my local M's, it's not in the main scrapping section but rather an aisle or two away where they have all other kinds of adhesives, liquid gold, or gold leaf, all that stuff...and on a lower shelf closer to the floor.
Maybe that will help you find it next visit to M's. lol
Storm was pretty nice to my area in PA. I don't even know that we have 7 inches.

It may be only seven inches, but you're welcome to send that snow to me!! (It's been in the mid 60's and we have had our doors and windows open all week here in So. TX. I hate it... next week it will be swimming weather again, most likely..GRRRRR!)
I have two RAK's to grant (as soon as I clean off my craft table again!) and then will be starting here. Well starting the actual work. I've been working on this in my head for a week, at least!

Quote:Also-I'm in the altered bingo card swap and want to attach a stick-pin to the top of the card. any suggestions? if i am attaching it permanently i will use an eyelet and use a charm .. if a stick pin hide a glue dot of foam square under an embellishment somewhere and stick it in that. hope that helps have fun everyone and stay safe all in the storm area.. terri

Here in New Jersey we got about 7 inches or so. I had gotten a new camera for Christmas so I was out taking pictures. I'm just happy my brother owns a plow truck. My driveway was one less thing to shovel!
Altered Bingo cards intrigue me... I'd like to try it but wouldn't be sure how to go about it. As for this swap I'm hoping to be able to sit down tonight or tomorrow and get going on some of the ideas I have. I've got cookies to bake and dog treats to make to send to a friend of mine for Valentines Day too. The quote " A woman's work is never done" is one of the most accurate sayings EVER! lol

I grew up in SW CT, so I'm familiar with what you guys have... and still envious!! I used to call this weather my birthday blizzard, as Monday is my B'day and we always had snow days this time of year due to the weather. I haven't seen snow in years and years, but I still miss it. I miss the change of seasons, and a lot of other things.
Our nectarine tree is blooming, getting ready to give us fruit again this year. I don't know if my plum tree is dead or just a late bloomer. That's one of the few things I like. Back home we had apples and blueberries, and strawberries in June not March!
