Is there an easy way to do a word in CCR that is welded, then shadow that word and cut them? It seems like there must be an easier way than place each letter. I am now doing the word and welding it then taking each shadow letter and placing it behind the original word.
I have looked for videos online but haven't come across what I am looking for.
Thanks, Michelle

Narelle has a good demonstration of welding with shadows here: http://cricutcraftroombl...g-text-boxes-in-ccr.html I can't remember if she uses the text box or does like you are doing but I know the real trick is to weld the shadow first and use mat layers to place your base cut. I do like she explains except I don't use the text box, I just lay the individual letters/images on my mat and place them like I want. The text box is the only thing in ccr that gives me fits so I have just about given up on using it. Anyway, check her demo at the above site. I was really helpful for me and made it much easier than the way I was doing it before. Edited by user Friday, January 18, 2013 12:41:18 PM(UTC)
