If you don't have wireless internet then the adapter is of no use to you.
When you received your E2 it will have come with a USB cable.
You need to use that to connect the E2 to your computer.
You'll also need to download and install
Cricut Sync and use that to update your E2 to the latest firmware version.
Once that's done, open CCR and sign in.
Make sure you E2 is connected to your computer.
Power the E2 on
From CCR Select Help, Install Drivers, Cricut Expression 2 drivers and follow the instructions.
Once that's done you should be able to cut from your E2.
You'll also want to make sure you register your E2. That way the preloaded carts that came with the E2 will be available for you to cut in CCR.
To register your E2 click on your name at the top of this screen, then select Registered Products.
Click the Add button then from the Pruduct list scroll down past the Cricut Craft Room Exclusives until you come to the Cricut Expression 2. (Or type in Cricut Exp and it will take you straight there.)
There's two entries for the E2 - one is the Anniversary Edition and the other is the regular E2.
The E2 registration data base is updated on Thursdays so if you do it today your E2 carts should be available in CCR on Friday.
Hope that helps
