Don't worry Robin, nobody is really 'committed' until they pay their crop fees and I don't accept them until probably August this year! Hope you can come though..do we need to put you in a plastic bubble so you don't get hurt between now and then? LOL! Again, hope you can come, I would love to FINALLY get to meet you!

NGGG, would be great to meet you too!! Fly on up! Maybe you could get one of those weekend deals on a car rental and it wouldn't be so bad! Is it cheaper to fly into Peoria or Moline, or have you checked? Both are about the same distance from Galesburg. Hope you can join us!

Rhonda, do you have a way to get ahold of Heather? I don't know that I do, but will check. It would be fun if she could come too!! And how nice of you to offer carpooling! Hope it works out for some of you!!

We'll probably have some door prizes from CTMH this year as I have signed up to be a consultant! I will remind you all ahead of the crop and if anyone needs anything we can place an order just ahead of the crop with a drawing for the hostess rewards if you want to! Then I can have all the stuff shipped here and have it for you when you get to the crop! (if anyone wants anything before then you can always shop at my site: www.ScrappinwithJ.ctmh.com )

Of course we will accept goodie bag items to share with everyone this year, so anyone who wants to make something for that can be thinking about it now! In the past if you want to make something for everyone, you pass them out when you get there and they go in our goodie bags! Examples from the past crops are: wrapped candy bars, stick pins, handmade boxes filled with candy, handmade flowers, ribbons, stained glass stars, coasters, all kinds of fun things! I won't be able to tell you how many you will need though until a couple weeks before the crop!

I am so jealous! I really wanna come! DH is not to into a road tripCrying ! I am going to keep working on him. GrandmaJ any bowling alleys near by? I am still going to try and figure something out! I don't drive out of my comfort zone or I would drive myself. Hummm! I wonder if I could find someone to come with me that would driveGlare !

I would so love to come! Nothing planned for that weekend but will need to wait until it gets closer to time. I think it is like a 14 hr drive from where I am in TX...so maybe flying in and sharing a ride(and maybe hotel) with someone else would be great. I think it would be so neat to meet everyone in person! I am not sure how much I would get done....LOL It sounds like a super fun weekend!!

Hope, I am from TX too, but I think it is a lot farther to this crop from where I am!! If I can come, I will also be flying and would love to share a rental car and a room!!!

NotGoingGreyGracefully and Laura-I am over in the Panhandle of TXBigGrin -Laura I usually have to fly to DFW to get to anywhere else! So if you do fly then maybe we can all meet there.

Ladies-I will know more later in the Spring as there is a possibility of my husband being promoted/transfer(some place in TX) therefore there might be a move this summer to who knows where! Then I can make plans to drive, fly, hotel rooms, etc!Smile



I would love to meet everyone!!! Sounds like so much fun!!BigGrin

No hotel yet, but ds lives just over an hour away, so I am planning to bunk there Laugh

May seem far to some, but I drive 45 minutes for stores, so it really isn't too bad.

I understand completely Kathy!! You know we all hope you can join us, but no decisions have to be made until closer to time. I just always suggest getting motel rooms before the close ones sell out!

I am interested in going since it is so close. A lot depends on drill which I won't know until I am closer to that time frame. If I don't have drill I can easily drive over for a day or more.
