Hi, I am new to using the cricut and I am making a decal for my sister and she lives an hour away, so I have already cut out the letters, but I do not know how to keep them until I see her in a week or so. Is there anyway I can keep the vinyl from getting ripped or anything so when I take it to her she can put it on her car? Thank you!

You need to keep it on the pick - up tape and not peel off the backing to reveal the glue, store it flat so that you don't break the letters and don't take of the backing paper till the very last second.

Clear contact paper. Leave the paper on the back of the vinyl, and you usually cover in transfer tape to help get it off the matte and to where you want it but I use clear contact paper. Will come off the vinyl no problem!!! Leave a little excess on the contact paper, and stick it to something. Cardboard, or even just a piece of paper or card stock. That should help protect it. Or even stick it back to the contact paper backing.
