Fabric question, I know there is a pro here

OK I finally learned how to cut the fabric and get it on the shirt. What are my options to keep it on after washing it so it does not lift????

You could sew around the edges. Maybe with a zig-zag stitch or even by hand using a blanket stitch. Depending on how you attached it to the shirt in the first place, it may stay in place anyway. Good luck. I know I'm not much help but I have appliqued on fabric so I know that would work.

If you sew, sewing around the edges.

Everything the other ladies said, but it also helps to wash your applique materials BEFORE you adhere your iron on materials. Washing takes out sizing, etc. that sometimes inhibits your iron on materials.

I used heat bond. It has a lion's head, letters, and paw prints. I am so scared to wash it cause OMG it took me days to learn this part. As soon as I am finished I will post pics.
