I recently got the Cricut mini for Christmas and some used cartridges I've bought on ebay. I am having trouble linking them to my account in craft room. Is it possible the previous owner uploaded them and now I won't be able to?

I would say that's probably what happened. Lots of people who sell their carts never tell potential buyers that the cart has already been linked. Sorry.
