Okay Gwynne - I have been eyeballing this swap for about a week - sign me up girl!

1. Do you have a preference as to which theme you’d rather receive – winter theme or shades of blue theme or mixture of both? I love winter themes or shades of blue (we did blue and silver this year for Christmas and I loved the combo)

2. Are there any craft items you would like to be made for you? I would love alter blocks, an altered canvas, charms, stick pins, etc. Things I can put on a shelf, the wall or a card

If you know your partner is newer at swapping, you can really make it easier on her with some suggestions that also follow the “large, medium, simple” plan of attack.

3. Are there things about the theme that you really like or dislike? For example: You collect snowman even though you live in hot Texas but because you live in the deep South, you really have no use for knitted mittens. I use a lot of snowmen when I decorate for Christmas and love snowflakes as well

I have been cleaning my craft area and getting things ready for my project. I am getting really excited to get started. It's so funny just wondering what special items I'll get to make this round. Gwynne, as much as I am tempted to join, I couldn't since we are moving and I haven't pack a single item yet! Winters are the busiest in the hospital and we even had to admit ICU patients to recovery overflow since we ran out of room in our regular ICU, and we have 60 beds! Busy shifts+active baby=tired me.

I've had a busy day between some cleaning on putting christmas decor away. I actually have to finish up tomorrow but that's my own fault - I took too many breaks doing other stuff that was way more fun or enjoyable.

I'll most likely post partners tomorrow evening after my work is done and dinner fixed, etc.

And don't be afraid to PM each other and give some more info out that might help your partner out with good ideas for you. Or, let her know that it's fine to create whatever she so choses that fits with the theme and is something she enjoys making and sharing with her partners.

My only other suggestion is that many have indicated that they love snowmen, you might want to try to get mailed out way before DD so that the receiver can enjoy those snowmen longer before spring arrives! lol

Ok this should be easy as i think our answers could be ditto.. I am also a snowman lover.. I have some that stay out all year.. and yes Silas is the main star at this time.. I so enjoy him.. I am trying to get some things moved around so I can have my own steampunked area in my craft room.. but for now he is in the curio cabinet with all the snow globes..

Do you sew? No, I took home ec but sewing was not my talent (haha), I wish I had learned because now being a crafter I think I would like it.

What other color do you like that would go with blue? Browns, tans, silver, white- I like it all; even red for love/Valentines is good; my DD is 8 yrs old and loves my swap items I receive and goes through and picks out what she wants as soon as my pkg arrives (too funny), Her goal is to go to college and be a "Dolphin Trainer" when she grows up so anything with beach/ dolphins/ fish is also great for me; DS and I are taking scuba lessons this spring so we can be certifified divers- the 4 of us are going to Bonaire for a diving vacation this summer
