WELCOME TO THE VALENTINES EDITION OF THE BAGS AND TAGS SWAP !!! THis is a new version of the Tags Bags and Boxes Swap. This time we will make SMALL to MEDIUM SIZE BAGS (5 inches high up to 9 inches high) gift bags, or small boxes ( like 4" x 4" ) for jewelry or trinkets. ALso, the coordinating tags should only be the #8 RANGER SIZE TAG WITH REINFORCED HOLE and A 10"-12" long ribbon or twine tie on the end.. The CARD MUST BE AT LEAST 5"x7" in size and include an envelope with it. ( Partner chooses either a card or tag ) THis is much easier, simpler, cheaper, easy to mail etc... I will even keep the RULES to a minimum !! If you have never been in one of my swaps, please PM me with your name & addy & phone # Rule #1 - Make a Gift Bag or Decorated Box and A BIG CHUNKY TAG or a VALENTINE CARD (depending on your partner's wishes) IF YOU WISH TO MAKE MORE THAN ONE - PLEASE LET ME KNOW YOU WANT 2 SPOTS OR MORE..... Tags should be finished on the front and the back Rule #2 - Sign up by SATURDAY 11:59 PM JANUARY 5th and check after 2PM SUNDAY afternoon for your partner Rule #3 - PLEASE Mail by Friday, FEBRUARY 1st Rule #4 - PLEASE DONT FLAKE OUT !!! I would love to join you. I did flake on one swap but I will let you know if, after starting this, I can't complete it in plenty of time, so you can post for an angel. I have only one question - what size is the Ranger tag? Do I have to buy one and then embellish it? I love making little boxes - and the stuff to go in them, too. The #8 Ranger tags are Big Manila tags with Reinforeced holes and are sold in JoANns, Michaels, Hobby Lobby etc...they are a Tim HOltz basic stand-by item. They are awesome for covering wiht papers, inks, paints, jewels, ribbons, etc... You can make your own, but please use super heavy card-stock, or 2-3 layers of regular cardstock. They are approximately 3 1/2" x 7" ( I dont have the package with me at the moment) I find it easiest to buy them and then cover them with pretty papers and BLING !! Loads and Loads of BLING !! If you will look at some of our older ROunds you will see some examples. I will try to download some pics here for you. You also have the choice to make a Valentine card instead but you should ask your partner what she wants first. Hope this helps ! We are looking for many more members ! Welcome back Melody ! I will try to keep this going until tomorrow afternoon and see who else might want to join. We can start crafting anytime..but you really ought to wait to see what color scheme or "theme" your partner might wish to have...for example, someone may want a bag that is appropriate for a child, or a man, or something in "BLUE" okay... so that is a private joke about how much I dis-like the color blue (for those who dot know me - ha ha ) Lets make this a fun swap !! Evelyn I put you down for two bag sets if you still want to make 2. I have been in bed with the flu for the last 2 days...real bummer, but I am turning the corner on it tonight. Just to help you find them....the Ranger Tags are usually kept in Michael's stores where you find the TIm HOltz items...in JoAnns they are with the stamping and embossing supplies, and with Hobby LObby they have a section where they keep tags next to the plain paper gift bags (which is a handy spot for this swap) so the bags and tags are "together"...This may not be true of all stores, but all the ones I have been to this seems to be the order of things. The Ranger tags are available in Manila, WHite, Dark Kraft color, and now in BLACK !! REally cool in BLACK !! CricutCrazy attached the following image(s):

His tastes start in the 50's and goes until today. His Ipod has over 4000 songs on it. He also has started a tropical fis tank recently. We had one for years, but with three kids it became impossible to maintain. Since the kids have all grown we thought we would revisit a tank. I had an epiphany for your card today. It is very masculine but pretty at the same time. Not romantic but still appropriate for a male friend. I was really unsure of what to do and then it just came to me. I hope you will like it. The bag I was planning on using is 6.5" x 9", is that to big. I can use a smaller size if you would like.

I had you down for 2 partners on the Post#1 and it seems as though you have not contacted NGGG (Not Going GreyGracefully) about swapping with her...please let us know something. If you cannot do it then I will try to get busy on another one.
