HI! I'm brand new to Cricut but I LOVE scrapbooking. I just got my new cricut mini and I'm trying to figure out, when you cut out multiple layers of something, what is the best way to put them together? For example, I cut out a squirrel-what is the best way to attach the eyes, nose, etc. Help please?

When putting together layers it is a personal preference. I like glue because if I put it on wrong I can pull it off easier and quicker  . Some like tape because they don't like the dried glue look if it oozes out. Others like to use pop-up squares to give their images a 3 dimensional look. I used glue for this i want flat, i use the Zig memory system glues, for the small pieces, for larger pieces sometimes i will use a glue stick.

Purchase a Xyron (the smallest is ok) I use it for small pieces and liquid glue for tee tiny pieces.

Glue dots are great for small bits you can get them in a range of sizes.

I love my sticker maker I use it for almost everything that fits in it. I want to get one that does up to 4 inches. I have the 510 and love it but seem to always run out of refills for it....
I use glue dots alot. I use some glue but I have found that I am the funny one that hates the glues oozing out. so I only use it if nothing else is working.

I use different adhesives depending on what I'm trying to do and where I am. I've got massive amount of "stuff" at home, but I don't have much room in my tiny office at work. I primarily use Zig and good ol' Elmers there because it's easy to store. At home, I usually use one of my Xyron machines (I think I've got all of the sizes). It is the fastest way to apply adhesive to an entire cut. Tip - go around the all edges with a ballpoint pen BEFORE peeling the top layer off so that the adhesive sticks to that top layer. If you don't, you'll get bits of adhesive around the outside of the cut; this usually doesn't hurt anything, it just makes it a little sticky.
