once you download or import a cut file how can you tell what cartridge it takes to cut this file hope soneone can help me with this please

I was wondering the same thing. I only know how to check before hand by looking at the "what was used" section but would like to keep track of it afterwards.

no that is not what my problem is . ok you put the cartridge in your cricut then it shift and the bear and you get the bear that is blackout with out the holes f. i just want the plain bear and cant do it with the craft room

All the images on the cart are in CCR. Just make sure you are choosing Basic or Layer at the top of the keypad and Show Shift or Hide Shift at the bottom of the keypad. scrapalette attached the following image(s):

yes i called cricut today and now it so easy to do .make a shoadow of the bear then size the layer and hit the hide and contour select the ears hit exit and then keep doing this till you have the bear all done it was easy when they told me how to do
