I finally decided to get the Gypsy before the M's sale was over. Thanks to the MB members who answered my questions while I was deciding. Sad thing is I haven't even had time to take it out of the box yet! I'm hoping to soon and I'm sure I'll have more questions. Update: Tonight I finally got to sit down and register it, download Gypsy Sync, and load the newest updates. I was armed with all the great suggestions from everyone here and have watched several videos and everything went very smoothly! I don't remember who mentioned it but I probably wouldn't have gotten through registration without knowing to disable pop up blockers. You all are great! If you've been thinking that you wanted one, you will absolutely love it! It's a great gadget. Make sure you have a bit of time when you unpack it and set everything up. There are several tasks that you have to do to get started -- they are not difficult, but you do have to sit there with it. Also, watch the videos in the Information section of cricut.com -- they really help you get started.

Give yourself time to play, and soon you'll find that you don't do anything without her! I actually boxed up all my carts and books, I don't think I'd remember how to use them anymore. Congratulations!!

Congratulations! You will love it. I did not think I wanted a gypsy, but I use mine nearly every day! Watch all the videos, and be sure to check out Pam's videos and tips at http://www.thebugbytes.com/

Scrapbooking folk seem to be very good at enabling (in a good way, of course). My DD#2 introduced me recently to papercrafting, and next thing you know, I'm rearranging my weaving/knitting studio to accommodate an expression and a gypsy, not to mention a whole new set of tools and supplies. Of course, the whole time, I'm thinking to myself, "it will be nice to have a hobby with some immediate gratification instead of working for months on a single project!" I just need a bigger craft room! Really appreciate all the update/download/training tips from you all. It has helped me tremendously Edited by user Wednesday, September 29, 2010 8:07:46 AM(UTC)
