I am trying to weld a swirl on to a capital A. I get it to weld but it does not show the open area in the top of the A ( small area above the cross bar)

Hi! I don't know what to tell you. I can't seem to recreate your problem (when I weld to a capital a it shows that small triangle as cutting out), but I know I've had trouble getting DS to weld the way I was hoping. It seems like very complicated patterns tend to cause the most problems. All I can say is try changing things up (use a different font?) or just resolve yourself to finding another solution (hand-cutting that triangle piece or not welding and just gluing the pieces together?) Sorry I couldn't help you find the solution you were looking for.

Go to YouTube & type in welding with CCR or DS. There are some great tutorials on there for all aspects of CCR & DS. If you are using the Gypsy, try that one!
