COB - you are just making us all wait CJ - already moving your craft room. I thought about switching the craft room and my bedroom and decided just take over the linen closet as extra storage. QOD: What are you working on this wekend? K

Mama C has an ongoing Use Your Stash challenge. Is yours different? I thought Jean already started the LID challenges again? I could've been reading an old thread and not realized it though. If Kim has pics she's welcome to post them. It's been overcast, rainy & foggy here all day; I tried to get pics but they didn't come out well.

Just got done with Baby Brother's *First Birthday Party* I can't believe he's that big already! What I'm doing with the rest of the weekend is yet to be decided. I'd love to craft but it all depends on these kiddos moods. I'm anxious to see COB's picture. Just post the bad pics already and take better ones later. We're getting restless here!!

ok...ok....okay! I'll post some pictures so you will stop stomping! I made a Steampunk Dress Tassel. The first pic is the front. Second is the back of her dress. The third is the bodice and the top of her dress. Edited by user Saturday, January 12, 2013 8:28:11 PM(UTC)

Trying to make the pictures larger... I can't make them bigger for some reason. these were resized to what i always use in photobucket and they are tiny. Even when I uploaded the image straight from my computer that isn't resized when you click on the link it's tiny. Played with them long enough that the computer will be thrown out the door if I try it one more time! Sorry!! Will try again tomorrow. Maybe it's something to do with the boards? QOD: What are you working on this weekend? Well, I finished up several items yesterday, Altered Ticket Strips, Valentine's Day Cards, Altered Gift Bag...started the Saturated Canary Card. Today I'm working on Sympathy Cards, this swap and finishing the Saturated Canary Card. I also have to start on the All Homemade so that I can at least have that started before I leave for my trips to DC and Tampa leaving on Friday. Can't wait to go but a little bummed that I won't have any crafting time while I'm gone....Kim~ Love the Spool that you did. You are such an inspiration. So much talent! BIG WAVES to my partner Cindy~ Will be working on this today and hopefully finished up by Wednesday. I want to have all of my swaps in the mail before I leave ...I'll be gone for 2 weeks with no craft time in between and don't want to get behind. I'll keep you updated on my progress. Hope everyone is having a great weekend ~Rebecca Edited by user Sunday, January 13, 2013 2:01:43 PM(UTC)

You're welcome...always love helping a fellow crafter. You're lucky it's close as we drove to St. Louis last year to attend (2.5 hours). We did stay an extra day to have a look around St. Louis. DH found a record store with TONS of albums...we were there 2 hours. I loved the Heartfelt Creation class. I also took a CK class and another couple class, can't remember. Don't bring much to work on at the evening crop because you really don't get projects done in class time and the crop is a great time to finish them. Also bring some extra cash because (1) they're tons of vendors and (2) at the crop they sell some leftover stuff pretty cheap. I got BoBunny paper kits for $5 each!

K Had wanted to get a lot done this weekend, but have been sick and off work since Wednesday afternoon. I am going to work tomorrow, and try to accomplish something. I did manage to SIT on my couch and finally sort ALL my cuts into albums (well most of them anyway). My bf brought me the binders as needed. Still in search of the right spool for DD

Hi everyone, especially to my partner - PLANLADY Sneak peak included. I am done and ready to mail. Nice job Kim, you are always thinking outside the box. Yesterday was so cold here, no one wanted to go outside. So my daughter and granddaughter came over to scrap. ok = the granddaughter is 16 months old and just wanted to use a pen on all my scrap paper.... we made 6 pages for a baby scrapbook that my daughter hadn't finished and then I worked on my spool project. I had the idea and supplies already to go. Turned out pretty good in the end. Maybe one more look at it to see it it needs a little more bling.... haha MaureenSala attached the following image(s):

So we are about at the half-way point this week. A reminder - the last day to mail is on the 31st. I have to have a DC# by the 31st in order to have a partner assigned for the next round. If something comes up, please let me know in advance of the due date. For all of you that have been sick lately - I hope you are all feeling better soon. Those who haven't been sick - I hope you stay healthy. Let's do another check in by Sunday the 20th. Maureen - Love the sneak peek. KIM - I so love that spool. I maybe too far away to snag COB's, but not too far to snag the one you made for yourself
