Robin - cool kit...love the embellies and trims. I really do like all styles except for cutesy. I can go heavily or lightly emblished...or somewhere inbetween. I am not a big girly girl...but I can appreciate pretty. I just really prefer to make grungy steampunky type of things. I recently made myself an uber grunge metal banner and display. I know it isn't for everyone...but I LOVE how it came out. K

Love the sneak peek Kim! For my "Style of the Moment" it has to be either grungy/steampunk or nice clean lines with blues/greens (thank you to Project Life). What a combo, huh?? Those are my current faves, but I pretty much like anything.

Wow, tough couple of days at work! It is over, though, and things are back to normal. Style? I like the distressed/ vintage look. I love Melissa Frances - her stuff is gorgeous. Tim Holtz, of course. I recently discovered Donna Salazar and am digging her "girly grunge" style. COB - Your daughter is such a beautiful girl. God bless her! Kim - I can't wait for the BIG reveal. Your sneak peak looks awesome!!!!

Good Morning - JCI. Oh my goodness. Everyone's talking about CHA and I am determined to reduce my inventory. I am serious. I have an inventory not a stash. It's ridiculous. No more buys for me. It is time to stop getting those calls from HL, Michaels etc asking me if they can buy from me. My project is ready to mail and I'll post the DC# later after I get back from the post office. I am so excited. Evelyn

Kel
I went to ACM this morning bc I had to use my rewards certificate before it expired. I also have a $50 GC for them that I got for Christmas. It was so DEPRESSING! I'm going through the store and in my mind I'm saying "HAVE IT, HAVE IT, HAVE IT, DIDN'T LIKE THOSE WHEN I HAD THEM, HAVE IT, HAVE IT, DON'T NEED IT, THAT'S ON ORDER, HAVE IT, DON'T NEED ANOTHER ONE..." Either I have what they have OR I would shame myself out of buying more (ie: paper, inks, sprays) til I use more of what I already have. I wound up getting 15 foam brushes/$1, 3 2oz bottles of paint and a pkg of tape refills w/ a 40%$ coupon. After my certificate my cost was 81 cents. So I guess I'll hold onto my GC til Spring, maybe they'll get some of the new TH dies... I did score 5 carts on ebay this week for $60 so that was cool though, not that I "need" them either but at least it's something "new" to play with and I can justify it by saying they'll help me use what I have up. What I NEED is professional help...

I'm thinking it's best not to post pictures cuz' a lot of you know where I live... Edited by user Friday, January 11, 2013 3:30:18 PM(UTC)
