Robin they are supposed to be comig out with 4 new lines this time. I definitely want the French country one, but the little kid one I am going to pass. I hear the gasps already - me passing on a line....I know crazy huh? I am waiting for a sneak peek of the other two. I am keeping my fingers crossed for another steampunk one. SOooooooo wish for another one.
Kel
Oh and my inspiration I try to find everywhere: youtube videos, blogs, the talented ladies here, online workshops...

Cricut Junky, I am almost done with your spool. I worked on swaps this weekend.
I saw just a few sneak peeks of G45 paper new lines. I like it!
QOD: I get my inspiration everywhere, you tube, Pinterest, blogs, CMB, and definitely my crafting buddies on here.
Hugs, Lana

This is my soldier getting ready for the 237th Military Police Company's Ball held this past Saturday night. It's so hard to see my little girl like this knowing in a few very short weeks she'll be in one of the worst parts of Afghanistan for the next year. It's her choice, I get it, but it's so hard to watch it happen... CraftyOldBat attached the following image(s):

Oh COB she is beautiful! I couldn't imagine one of my children going over there, it would be heartbreaking for me. I think one of the worst parts for me would be knowing there is nothing i can do about it, because it is their choice. You guys will be in my prayers.
Lana, omg you are fast!! Can't wait, I love Graphic45!

I did a check off of those who posted in the last 8 days. I need the following to please check in - if you are the persons partner and have heard from them (or not) please let me know... DeniseEmerich (10 days) - okay - but please check in this week JessieG - (18 days - initial signup) please check in SweetCreations - signed up via email (no posts on thread) emailed me a check-in; still having difficulty wtih board My general rule for those new to my swaps is that you check in weekly. If you know you are going to be gone, - just shoot me a message so I can mark you as checked in. If you miss two check ins you are pm'd. If you don't respond to the the pm within 3 days you are removed. Since this swap just started I am not going from signup dates -just from the beginning of the swap. We just had week 1 checkin. Hi, I heard from my partner Jessie G 4 days ago via PM. She is a new mom and has someone check the boards for her since she is not always able to do so. They may not know to check in. Thanks, Jeanene

I have my idea for your spool ready to test out this week. Hopefully, it will work with the spool I have. I'm trying it with a normal size thread spool. If not, well then I will have to go with a plan B! QOD: I find my inspiration on Pinterest, Google images, Youtube and Flikr. Edited by user Tuesday, January 08, 2013 6:52:12 AM(UTC)

I have heard from everyone now....awesome. Just wanted to make sure we started off to a good start. QOD: What is your favorite style(s) of the moment? MY answer: I am digging steampunk and grunge right now. Sometimes it is a hybrid of the two

QOD: What is your favorite style(s) of the moment? I'm loving retro. I just got a kit full of girly/retro style scrappy stuff...you know, the Betty's. Here's a link to the Melissa Francis kit I got last month: http://store.scrapbook.c...l?t12-13=melissa+frances

QOD: What is your favorite style(s) of the moment? Digging Vintage right now (or would you call it Vicdtorian?), which is weird for me because I've never really liked it before, Strange right? but I'm loving the lace and the pearls and the roses. QOD: What is your favorite style(s) of the moment? I've always been a girly/vintage/Victorian frilly with lace and flowers person.... love the red, black and white or cream and soft yellow look. Lately however, I've been getting into the more modern blues and greens. Not plain by any means but simple and elegant without all of the froufrou stuff!
Hope everyone is having a great week. Happy HUMP day
~Rebecca
