JCI I completed my spool on Sunday set it on the shelf and completely forgot about it! It will go out tomorrow to Jessie! I had a few false starts but I really like how it turned out! Hope she is happy with it. I will post the DC tomorrow! Have a great week everyone!

JrCreate - you still have plenty of time to mail. I am sure she will love it. You do great work Denise - you bring up a good point (Please do let me know if there are any weather issues that prevent in mailing on time). I would rather you mail a day or two late than go out in bad conditions - your health and safety is more important than any spool. There is still time..so hopefully there will be a good day to mail. Jean - I am so sorry for your loss. Both you and your sister have been in my thoughts and I would love to send her a message. Kel

Ok....I will start you all off with a laugh for the day..... Well I started to tell the story and then deleted it. It is almost too embarrassing. It is spool related though.....maybe later. I will live in shame for ever though

Happy Saturday everyone and big waves to Rebecca! I'm hoping to finish up my spool today (assuming Little Dude and Baby Brother cooperate!). I wanted to get it done last week and everything got crazy here. Hopefully I have some time to breathe this week! I'm loving all the pics! We have some talented ladies here!

Did not get to the post office....dh wanted to grocery shop and all that before the whole 2 inches of snow fell. I swear...he panics like crazy lately. He was born in New Orleans and lived there till he joined the Marine Corps, but since then he has been in some fairly snowy climates, including Mount Figi, Norway, and least I forget 4 years in Cleveland, Ohio where from November to April it snowed and as a SNCO he had to go out for various notifications and what have you in snow and ice, and now at age 60 he panics....Heaven help me!!
Anyway it is all boxed and ready to go first thing Monday morning.

JCI -- My package is going out tomorrow and I will post DC# then. But today, I received my spool from my partner JeanP and it is the most adorable piece I have seen. I am going to post my picture tomorrow because I can't find my disc for my camera. It is somewhere on my desk and my desk is a mess right now. So, I will get it up tomorrow because you all have to see this. It is so pretty and she was so clever with the spools. Jean, I love what you did. You were so creative and I am thrilled with it. I am so happy and it will look great among the other items I have displayed in my craftroom. Thank you so much. I hope you'll like yours. Take care. Have a great week everyone.

Lori, interesting ... don't stress about mailing Thursday, cause I don't think I'm going to be able to mail till Saturday ... and I only check my mail on Saturday, so if you mail Thursday I probably won't get it until the following Saturday anyway ... if DH gets a cross border run I'll mail earlier. Wow, I found this thread on page 2.  Not too many talkative peeps lately. I was at a scrapbooking getaway over the weekend and boy did I have so much fun. It's nice to take some time out and get away for a few days. My spool will be going out this week (hopefully before Thursday).

I told myself that I wasn't buying anything new for scrapping until at least April so I used what I had in my stash. Between my sewing case, my scrapbbok stuff and my beads, I managed to create something different. I knew you liked pink so I went with a red/pink for Valentine's Day So glad that you liked it!!! I think some of the cart prices are ridiculous!! I guess some people are just willing to pay that much, hey if they are willing why not! I sold a cart on Ebay, I only asked 35.00 but the bid went up to nearly 100.00, I don't understand why people are willing to pay that much. but what was I suppose to do, Crazy, now a Hello Kitty Cart for 300.00 that's just shameful in my opinion, but there again, if someone wants to buy it for that much, that is their money, their decision, what's the seller suppose to do.
Kel, I say don't worry about what people will pay, if it doesn't sell for what your asking, you can always come down off the price if you feel you should.-My 2 cents worth.
