Great check-ins so far...thank you!
Hope all is doing well.
QOD: Do you clean up as you work, clean up after, or clean up when you have no more desk space left to work on?

QOD: Do you clean up as you work, clean up after, or clean up when you have no more desk space left to work on? JCI QOD answers? I don't clean up as I work, I don't clean up after I'm done and I don't clean up as I run out of space I just move on to a differnt place in the house. I think Richard is just about ready to help me clean up my spaces. LOL Working on part of my spool add on and am having a good time. I most likely will be mailing on the mailing due date. Debbie

Here is my Dollar Store altered item. A little fuzzy as I used my ipad to photograph. I just think I may give it away......... the snowflake ornament was 3 for $1. I loved the first couple of ones I made before Xmas, went back to get some more snowflakes, and they were gone. My blog has pictures of the first 2 ones that I made - which are a little different. maureen Edited by user Wednesday, January 16, 2013 12:30:31 PM(UTC)

QOD: OCD queen that I am, I am constantly cleaning up! I can't function in the middle of a mess. I primarily work standing up at an old, bedside hospital table. (It does manually adjust height-wise but it bothers my back less if I'm standing.) It's not very big so my craft sheet fits perfectly taped on and takes up about 2/3 of the length so it works out well. I have counter space I try to leave open so I have a place to whip out my Big Shot or paper cutter; drives me nuts when there are no free surfaces. My E is on the opposite end of this table that my PC is on so I use it here but can clear a spot for assembling cards/paper projects. I do have a desk in the other room but it's piled with stuff so not usable at all..
My spool is almost done. Waiting for the adhesive to dry o/n now and should be able to mail on Friday (fingers crossed)
Dumb question: Have we signed up for the year or will there be new sign-ups for each Round?

QOD: I clean up when I am done unless I don't have anymore room then I have to clean a little or I can't find my cutter and ATG. I have to clean after each project or I don't feel like I am ready to start the next one.

I clean up between projects or when the clear spot on my table is down to less than a six inch square ... or when my DD invites too many people to Sunday dinner and I have to clear off the table

QOD: Do you clean up as you work, clean up after, or clean up when you have no more desk space left to work on? QOD: I very seldom clean up as I work...I really do try! I usually clean up when I have no more desk space to work on!!! But one of my crafting resolutions for the New Year was to clean up as I go or clean up after I'm done. I've done pretty well so far...hoping that it becomes a good habit. Hope everyone has a great night ~Rebecca

Dumb question: Have we signed up for the year or will there be new sign-ups for each Round? Not a dumb question: You sign up for the individual rounds. So here is how it will work. I will put sign ups for the next round next week. I will assign partners on the first of every month. You have to have your dc# posted from the last round (if you participated) in order to receive a parnter. (There is always exceptions, but communication is the key).

Love the sneak peaks. Cob I want to steal that already. Maureen, great dollar store challenge. Very cute idea. Lana great job on CJ's spool. CJ enjoy. Kim - just love that spool you made COB. Glad to hear everyone is working away. I changed my mind on how I was going to do mine. I saw some inspiration...and I am going to run with it. Hope my partner likes it...now to pick the perfect paper and embellies to pull it off. QOD: I craft like a tornado..It looks so bad...I finally clean it up when I cannot walk on the floor without having to watch crafting landmines and when my desk is about down to a few inches of work space I am lucky though, my son will come help me tidy up about once a week.

My spool is done!!! I'm so excited. Here is a sneak peek for my partner, Cindy. I will try to get it in the mail tomorrow before I leave to go out of town. Been running around town getting things together for my trip. I'm all organized and ready to pack up.... leaving tomorrow for DC and won't be returning till late Tuesday evening. I will check back in again on Wednesday. I can't wait to see what everyone has come up with for this swap. Have a great weekend, ladies ~Rebecca Edited by user Thursday, January 17, 2013 12:41:57 PM(UTC)

Thank you COB for posting the bigger pictures. :) and that's a very cryptic sneak peek of my spool! I can't wait to see it in person.
Cricutjunky... I love the spool Lana made you. Absolutely gorgeous!
Maureen... The altered snowflake is so pretty.
QOD... I clean when I only have a 10 x10" square left on my work space! It always looks like a tornado has gone through my dining room!

Happy Friday everyone! It's been a little hectic around here this week! Last weekend was Baby Brother's first birthday so we had a party with all our friends. The rest of the week he's decided to get some more teeth...so he's a cling-on during the day and wakes up hourly at night. :-( I did manage to get some stuff for my spool done though. I had a great idea to begin with (at least *I* think it was great), but couldn't figure out quite how to execute it, so after some cyber stalking of my partner and some time on Pinterest I am on idea #2. So far it's looking good! QOD from yesterday: I try to clean up as I go...the trash anyway. Supplies don't get put away until I'm done otherwise I end up dragging them out a dozen more times. Today's QOD: No fun plans for the weekend...I have to work nights the next 3 days.

Kim, I know you already got the DC# but you can expect it Tuesday. Just so you know, it's definitely kinda weird, so if you don't like it feel free to toss it but just don't tell me!

Today is DS's birthday, and the birthday person gets to pick Sunday dinner ... so we're having hamburgers / french fries and two cheesecakes, one cherry and one chocolate something ... last year we had 3 cheesecakes ... hope it warms up enough to barbecue the burgers ... its cold today, supposed to warm up tomorrow and then cool down for Sunday and DD has decided that DGS's girlfriend has to attend family functions (cause he always goes to hers) ... so that means I have to clear off the table ... severely curtailing my crafting time
