The machine runs but the blade does not touch the paper. Any ideas?

I just started having the same problem. Is there any help out there from anyone?! I'm in the middle of doing Christmas tags and it just quit going through the paper. Wendy

Ramona Hello Ramona, Have you updated your Expression 2 recently. If not, you can do so by downloading the Cricut Sync at www.cricut.com/cricutsync.You may also want to try taking the blade housing out of the black arm. Then push the button on top of the blade and pull out the blade. Blow up inside the housing. Sometimes bits of paper can get up in the housing and hinder the blades movement. If you have tried both of the steps above and are still experiencing difficulties press your finger down on the black arm of the machine. When you remove your finger does it pop back up? Let us know how it goes, Cricut Dani
