I am back home and able to get internet access. I really thought not having access for a week would be horrible but it was kind of nice not having computers and cell phones. I have a couple of Stampin' Up items to work on for a class then I will be starting the Mask.

Rhonda~ I do love when an idea just comes to me. Sometimes I have a difficult time deciding what I want to do! Sounds like you've been very creative! I've been moving along at a snails pace because there was so much I needed from the craft store. Went to M's yesterday and got so much good stuff. Can't wait to get started.
Traci~ Glad to have you back in phone range. I'm starting on your mask today ...I want to bring it with me when I come at the end of the month. Do you want a handle on yours or no??? For me, whichever way you decide is fine. I'll call you later today.

I made my mask today. Once I got started, I couldn't stop. I am really happy with the way this one turned out. My only concern is that my mask is on the heavy side.
Today is the first day of my New Years Resolution. I am going to cut out all junk food , sodas etc... Not calling it a diet just trying to live healthy. Once Lent gets here, Valentines Day, I'll go for the "Forty Days of Perfection" and go hard core diet and stepping up the exercise routine. Wish me luck.

Sorry haven't been on the site lately, working hard on this babyshower right now. It will be over this Saturday the 12 and then I will my full attention to your mask.
I would love a handle on mine. I will definitely have one for your mask.
Do you have a specific color scheme you would like? Do you have a favorite color? Would you prefer the traditional colors (Purple, Gold etc.)

I reread the OP. I will be starting your mask after Monday, I am working like crazy to get things ready for my first Stampin' Up workshop. I am excited because I have 9 people committed to coming which means there will be five or six the day of. My SU lady use to hold card classes on a monthly basis...and we paid like $7 for 3 cards...using new stamps and techniques...it was fun. Rhonda, thank you for the encouragement. I really need it after yesterday. I made a few bad choices  . I thought that I would never give up soda either, I am recovering Dr Pepper addict. I can not drink diet sodas, they give me a migraine type headache. My trainer figured out how much sugar I drank a week and it was alarming !!!!!! I don't want to talk about grocery bills, all the employees at Tom Thumb know us by name and when a new manager started, He introducted himself to me ,gave me his card, and told me to give him a call if there was anything he could help me with. Good morning, ladies~ Hope everyone had a great weekend. I went (alone) to couples game night on Saturday...DH had to work. But I had a great time. Last night we had family game night and that was a lot of fun. We played Catch Phrase...boys against the girls and they beat us four games straight...we're going to have to have a rematch. Good morning ladies! Sorry I have been MIA. I have been so busy with other things, it is the end of the semester for the high schoolers and I have been watching their grades like crazy. It is insane because I have never had to do this with my daughter and my son...well, he does great then he doesn't. It's a crazy roller coaster with him. His math teacher nominated him for a scholarship because he does so well in that class. Rhonda, I will send you a Spring Catalog out today or tomorrow. I am going to add a Sale-A-Bration book too because it starts next week. If you place a qualifying order ($50) I want you to have the flier to choose your free product. I think you have to be from LA to appreciate the colors of Mardi Gras because I love them. I would not decorate with them but I do love the color combination. My mom decorated a room in the colors once: not pretty. Laura, I gave up sodas and sweet tea three years ago when I did Weight Watchers. I lost 35 lbs and feel so much better. I have a sip of soda occasionally but rarely a whole soda, it is not worth the cost or calories!

Good morning... LilMsG...hope your shower was a HUGE SUCCESS....and the baby on the way will enjoy all it's wonderful things. Laura....I'm sure it would help me too, if I stopped the Dt Cherry Pepsi...but that is my only bad thing in life I have...LOL....well, beside buying for my craft addiction!!! So I'm ok with that. I have heard that the imitation sugar in diet drinks give alot of people the headaches. I hope you reach your goal and life a happier life...it's a great thing you are doing. Keep us posted on your progress!! Traci...I'm sure the TRUE mardi gras colors are an enquired taste! Not one for me...OF all colors why those?????!!! It is a symbolic thing?????? i too am interested in the outdoor man cartridge. Several cuts look very useable for me. I never buy cartridges at full price. I usually get mine on ebay.
I need to package up my mask and get it on the way.
