I cannot for the life of me get the 12x24 mat to stay straight when cutting. I have ruined several projects (because I have limited sheets of paper that size and there are NO stores locally that carry it  ) due to it "getting off track" and pulling the mat sideways. It starts out fine, but after about 6 inches, it starts creeping sideways. It's fine with the 12x12 mat. Anyone else have this issue? Before suggesting that I return it, I'll tell you that I bought this machine several years ago from Michaels. And of course there is no receipt for it laying around, so I'm sure I'm past any warranty. It's only been used 3 times and twice now I've had to scrap the project and make due with something else. Sounds like your rollers aren't gripping the mat. Try wiping the roller rubber with a baby wipe and wipe the back of your mat too. See if that helps.
