Has anyone bought one? I'm considering getting another Expression as a back up (in case they quit making them) and was wondering if this is a good route to go? If you've bought one, have you had any issues?
Thanks for your help

I've not bought a reconditioned E, but my DH {who has a computer company} says that reconditioned products are a good purchase because the item has been tested numerous times while other "new" items may just have one unit out of that production batch tested.

I bought a re-conditioned E in May as a backuup and have used it since then with no problems.

I agree with you both. Even though I don't have a super large amount of carts, about 65 maybe, I don't want to lose my investment. My dh said the same thing. He often buys reconditioned items. As a matter of fact I now have his reconditional iPad, which I am typing on right now. He got it two years ago and it works perfect! But, I just don't see this company going under. Yes, there has been some shocking changes, our friends have left the board and sold their Cricuts. Some have another die-cutting machine. But there are still people out there that love the Cricut machine! Me for one! If I was in Utah, I would be at their company's front door asking for a meeting to give some suggestions!

I bought the $99 Expression refurb bundle right before black friday. It arrived with the blade housing all in pieces. Cricut is replacing that for me. Otherwise, the machine is working ok. Although to my ears it sounds a little bit rough, but it is working. I'm going to use it exclusively for the one year warrenty that came with it. At $99 I think it is a good deal.

Thnx for your help guys. I don't see them going under either. I'm just wondering if they will quit making the E and just go with the E2, which I'm not overly fond of at the moment. I think I may order the bundle even though I have the carts already.
