My CE is not cutting. I have changed settings, taken blade in and out. It looks like the blade is not touching. I put in a marker and it doesn't touch cardstock enough to make a mark. My machine is about a month old. Very disappointing right here at Christmas and want to make cards.

Sounds like you're installing the blade housing unit too high. Take it out again and look at this photo and reinstall and see what happens. http://scrapalette.blogspot.com/p/cricut-help.html

the housing is sitting where it is suppos to. I looked at that also.
