HELP! CCR does not allow to make several cuts in a row

I feel your pain! I tried doing my first project in CCR last week. It ended up being about a dozen layers. Each layer had from 1 to 3 cartridges. Some of the layers only needed to be cut once, but some of them needed to be cut up to 16 times. The most I was able to cut without closing CCR and logging back in was 3, and that didn't happen very often. So I just plugged along and finally got it done.
That being said, I would like to know the solution too! And my machine is up-to-date, so that is not the problem.

Have you tried calling the customer support number?
I don't have an E2 so can't help. Sorry.
I just cut my layers one at a time. (didn't know you could cut them any other way)
I don't have my cartridges linked and use my E.
Let us know what they say because if there are two of you with the same issue there has to be a lot more that would benefit from the answer now or in the future.

I was used to using my Gypsy, where I could cut a mat layer, then when it was finished cutting and I unloaded and reloaded the mat, I could cut it again or go to another layer of the project and cut that one, and on and on. When I tried to cut in CCR, after one mat was finished cutting, I had to close out and log back in to cut the next mat, whether it was a repeat of the first cut or a new layer.

I'd definitely call CS. A while ago CCR was updated and the Cut screen totally changed where you select the layer to cut, select multi-cut if desired, load the mat, cut, unload the mat, select another layer to cut, load the mat and cut again and again.
It works beautifully with my E which is the model still connected to my computer because the E will also work with DS and the E2 won't.
