Getting ready to make some glass blocks for Christmas and wanted to know if both sides of the block have a design or just one side.

I only do my design on one side. On my pinterest account is a pic of one that I did last year for Christmas...I used white stamping ink and vinyl.... http://pinterest.com/pin/124763852147097414/

I usually do a design on only one side. But, I did make one with a design on both sides that sits in the corner on my kitchen countertop so the back can't be seen and I turn it around periodically. Edited by user Thursday, November 29, 2012 3:30:57 PM(UTC)

Thanks. Thanks, oh and the ink I used to white out the glass front was StazOn....I just dabbed it all over with the ink pad....very simple and the light glows through so nicely.

Wow, that is beautiful! I did several a few years ago and etched them on both sides with the etching cream. It took forever, well, it did to me. I had no idea that you could just use the white Stazon ink pad on there. That would make it much faster. I had done several Mickey/ Minnie ones, and a Thanksgiving one as gifts. I did both sides with vinyl. Of course, the pictures are on my very sick laptop, so I can't access them right now. I will have to try it with the ink pads. What a great idea. Thanks for sharing it with us. I always learn so much from the wonderful crafters on this message board!
