I recently purchased a new cricut & downloaded ccr. I updated my firmware. My cricut freezes when I use craftroom. Also, when I switch from craftroom to use my cartridges it makes an aweful noise and loads my mat in way to far. Someone told me to revert my firmware to the older version. Does anyone know how I go about doing that?

Interesting question.
The firmware update is linked with your ccr version.
I do that with my DS on XP firmware 1.1 is donwloaded in my cricut
I'm testing DS on windows 7 with latest version of DS and firmware 1.34 is downloaded in my cricut.
So if you find on older version of CCR your firmware will also be older.
