I have a cricut mini and am trying to cut out letters and numbers to make signs for our seamless gutter business. Not working out so good. Are there workshops or somewhere to go to learn this? If there is anyone who could help me? Please!Thank You!

I don't have a mini but I have cut vinyl...what is the problem? There is a release tape (sold in sheets) that will help you remove the vinyl and place it on your item. Or use painters tape? Edited by user Tuesday, November 27, 2012 5:16:50 PM(UTC)

Not sure the proper way to align and put vinyl on a sign. Is there an easy way to get it all lined up right then peel the baking off?

When you cut vinyl you shouldnt be cutting all the way thru to the paper, if you do what they all a kiss cut it will just cut the vinyl, then you use transfer tape to take it up from the paper and put it on whatever you are putting it on. The kiss cut for me on my Expression is blade, pressure and speed all set at 3, not sure about the mini.

Then you are cutting your letters at the size that will make you have to do it that way, you would have cut them smaller or do as you are doing and then piecing them together, with the bigger machine you can use a 24 inch piece of vinyl, but not with the mini so seems only if you cut it smaller you will need to do it in pieces.
