I am having TERRIBLE luck trying to cut vinyl in Design Studio without being able to manipulate speed/pressure. Any help is most appreciated!

Try this. You can't control the speed but you can control the pressure with the pressure dial on the machine. The speed will be overridden in DS or CCR. Blade depth 4, pressure med for cutting all the way through the backing or Blade depth 3, pressure low for kiss cutting just through the vinyl. This is what works for me and I always will multi cut 2 times. If you want to kiss cut and the above setting does not cut all the way through the vinyl, up the pressure to med Hope this helps Edited by user Saturday, November 24, 2012 8:09:55 AM(UTC)

Hope this helps Thank you SO MUCH, I just did some cutting and this did indeed help! I was so frustrated because I really am most interested in Vinyl projects-was hoping that I had not wasted money on Design Studio and knew if I were going to get answers, someone here, much more experienced would be able to-and you did just that. Thanks again for your help! I set my blade to 3 and then pressure was also at 3/medium. Worked like a champ. Candy
