I made placemats for my granddaughter and great niece. They really liked them at there dinner table. I cut the turkey and gobble from creat a critter. Cut a cardstock 9x9 and 2 strips of printed paper 9x6 folded in half lengthwise and adhered the strips on each end sandwiching the cardstock by about 1/2 inch. I think I will do something similar again for Christmas. Even thinking about asking the teachers at my niece's pre school if I could do it as a volunteer craft project for the kiddos to make their own. Then after dinner at my parents, it has become a Thanksgiving tradition that I bring almost finished gingerbread houses for the girls to finish decorating. They really look forward to that and have a blast. I buy the ready put together houses and do the basic decorating of the front and sides and icing the roof and then let them take it from there. After they had either ate or decorated with the rest of the candies, I added some finishing touches using cricut cuts. I cut 3d trees and snowman from WW, santa and his sleigh for the roof tops from Christmas solutions,an iceskater from WW and finished with a picket fence from my community. The girls are so cute eating and decorating their gingerbread houses to take home for the holidays. Olivia'sNana attached the following image(s):

These are so cute! I LOVE that you used your cricut to finish the yard of the gingerbread house. What a cute idea.
