I'm having troubles with getting my computer to connect to my Cricut Expression. I'm a PC user. Both the CCR and circutsync (not running at the same time) cannot find device. When I plug in my cricut my computer does the normal "chime" & same when you disconnect. I've installed "Cricut personal/create/cricut expression" driver but the FTDICOM Driver package VCP Driver (04/10/2012 2.08.24) had failed. The other driver "bus/d2xx driver" was updated.
This is my new laptop, and I never had this problem with my old one.
Please Help.

Check to see if something is stuck under your blade. I've had paper start sticking to it when I'm cutting out really small cuts.
Also, If the mat is not sticky enough, I tape the card stock down to the edges of the mat.
Hope that helps.

I get this message when I click on "cut" before I've loaded in my mat. So there's nothing in my circut.

I uninstalled CCR and circutsync and instead of uninstalling the driver from "uninstall a program" in control panel. I uninstalled the driver in "printers and Devices". Then installed CCR again. My circut now connect to my computer.
