I just got my Cricut Mini and I have been
trying to use my $25 gift card that was included
in the box. I have tried to purchase a digital
image and when I enter the code from the card
and enter apply it will come up and tell me the
code does not apply to anything in my cart. I have
tried various digital downloads with no success.
HELP!

Hi there. I'm running into the same exact problem. Did you figure out yet how to make the card work? I'd like to get some stuff done tonight, but I hate to pay for a cartridge when I have a gift card! I would appreciate your response! Thanks.

The card is only good for purchases of Craft Room Exclusives only...it won't work on digital cartridges.

I just used my $25 gift card towards the purchase of Create a Critter 2 (digital download). This is after I spoke with THREE customer service people tonight. All three said it could only go towards the Classroom Exclusive stuff. - Log into Cricut.com.
- Click on your name that displays at the top of the page.
- On the left side of the screen, click on Gift Card/Store Credit.
- Click Add.
- Enter your gift card code in all caps.
- Click Save.
- Your gift card should be accepted and displays under My Activated Gift Cards.
Shopping: - Now, add whatever you want to your cart - digital cartridges, etc. (Supposedly the code is a one-time use, so make sure you buying at least $25 worth of stuff so you don't lose out.)
- When you are done shopping and are looking at your shopping cart, click Continue to Checkout.
- No need to enter a code at this page.
- On the payment page, enter or select your address.
- Scroll past the credit card section and you will see a section called Gift Card/Store Credit.
- Click the drop-down and select your credit card.
- Enter the amount you want to use. (This is why I think your balance remains available, but I didn't want to test this.)
- Then if needed, go back up and enter your credit card info. (Yes, you could have done that before selecting the gift card, etc., but what if you accidentally hit Continue, etc., and forgot to use that darn gift card?!) :)
- Click Continue and whatever other buttons display to submit your order.

Thank you tons for posting the steps for redeeming the gift card code! I do a lot of online shopping and it never occurred to me to try it that way. Thanks bunches for saving me from tearing my hair out! :)
