I was just wondering which paper/cardstock is best used in the cuttlebug? Would plain cardstock be better?

anything but real thin paper works great. If you want to stamp a verse or greeting on the front of a card BEFORE cuttlebuging it, I lay a thin piece of paper over the stamped image this prevents the possibility of any ink residue from getting on the folder. try embossing tin foil, pretty neat, glue pretting wrapping paper to the front of your card, I just use a glue stick, then emboss that-stunning. The possibilities are endless........enjoy your new Toy.
