Yet again I have tried to link a cartridge only to get the error message saying the serial number doesn't match!! GRRRRRRRR!!!!!
Tried linking the George and Basic Shapes - failed as I got the 'serial number does not match'

Extremely annoyed now, hoped to get the rest of my christmas stuff done today.

What are you trying to link them to? CCR or a Gypsy?
If it's a Gypsy, call PC. George has to be linked using an older Cricut.

Tried to link them using Craft Room. Getting pig sick of the Cricut!!

I think I read someplace that there is a problem linking this cart, but if you call PC they can help you with it.

I contacted Cricut via e-mail and they have now linked my cartridges for me. I was tempted for a moment to e-mail to say thank you - but if they had linked in the first place there wouldn't have been all this brouhaha!! Edited by user Monday, November 19, 2012 12:59:37 PM(UTC)

I contacted Cricut and they linked my George and Type Candy for me as I couldn't get them to link
