My DS's 1st grade class is studying the life cycle of a ladybug. I made these for him to bring to school tomorrow along with the pail for the teacher to keep. If you are a teacher, do you think the class & teacher will like it? I hope so!! I used the Create a Critter cart for the ladybug. More pics & details on my blog.

Thanks everyone! The kids and teacher all loved them!
The bookmark is actually a SU Sizzix Die called Two Tags. However, if you are good with DS or Gypsy I think you could weld a scallop circle to a rectangle to get a similar look.

Yes, she took them and my son to ALL of the K-3 classrooms to show them? Also, after seeing these my 5th grade DD insisted she needed some for her class as well. Her homeroom teacher likes owls. So, this weekend we made owl themed ones and a pail of course. I like these even better. I will try to post pictures tomorrow..too tired after the trip to the pumpkin patch today.

Love these and your owls....way cute! Animal Kingdom has bookmarks - not with the neat scallops, just plain or with the animals- fyi. I work in our school's library - so stealing this idea - your paper choices are great! this is my greatest challenge - have no paper mojo. thank heavens for coordinated paper packs.
