Hello... I'm hoping I can get some advice here. First of all, I'd like to say I already called Cricut help line. They had to me synch my Cricut online, which I did. Also, I went out and bought a brand new blade and new mat. So I am working with all new parts and recent synch. I've included photos of what is happening... Basically the first image that is cut is almost always messed up. The cut lines don't connect and as you can see, the little circle for ribbon in a tag doesn't even close to being a normal circle. The mat tends to slide around and usually the second image, it is better, but on the second line it does it again on the first image of the second line of images. Here's some other info - the green casing is set to five. I tried changing it to four when I cut B&T (old thin style) and it helped a little. I'm wanting to know... Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know what's going on? What setting do you use for our papers? Thin B&T? Card stock? New thick B&T? I've had my Cricut awhile now and have loved it but now that I've run into these issues, it's turning into a bit of a headache, because I have re-cut stuff and waste paper. Also, do you know of a good place to find all this info? Blog? Resource? etc? TIA!! Album with photos of my problem....

Is the mat sliding around or is it the card stock that is sliding around?
(I can't get your photos to open. I just keep getting an error.)

I am having a similar problem. The left side of the machine is not engaging the mat and as the blade changes direction the mat shifts. New mat and new blade. Worked for 2 sheets of card stock then started acting up.

I was having similar problems with cuts skewing and mat not loading properly or not at all. Just realized today I had picked up the wrong power supply using it on my Cricut. I was using a power supply with lower voltage. Once I plugged in the power supply that came with my Cricut everything cut perfect.
