Well, it finally happened. I had 30 invitations to make, so I figured I'd use my Gypsy. Did all the designing, then plugged in the Gypsy to the Imagine, and POOF! The little port just broke right off inside my Gypsy!!! HOLY COW!!! The thing is out of warranty, and now I'm trying to figure out how to get it fixed!!! I can hear it rattling around inside the case, but it just broke right off!!! I can't believe it!!
I am so disappointed that a product that was purchased only a year ago (my Imagine) has been discontinued, and now the Gypsy has as well!!!!!! They don't even have them in stock on Cricut.com or any of the other major retailers. There are a few floating around on Amazon - but the price is almost what they went for at release.
Any ideas???? PS - I know I could have used Craft Room, but at this point all of my cartridges (80+) are linked to my Gypsy!!!

I read on these boards a while back that someone had your problem with the gypsy and was able to get it fixed by a tv repair person. I think it was for a resonable price. HTH.
