I just got my Cricut this week and would love to be able to go into a shop to look at cartridges, rather than online. does anyone know of anywhere in the UK that sells them please?

To be honest there is nothing more to look at when you see them in person... They show a sampling of the images on the package and they are tightly sealed in plastic so they can not be opened... So I'm not certain there is any advantage to going in person to look. If look at the cricut site you can preview the books and see everything on the cartridge before you buy from the store of your choice.

You'd really be better off to go to Cricut.com, click on the "shop" link and view the handbooks there. Select a cartridge you're interested in and scroll down through the description until you see a link for additional information. Then there will be a link for a digital handbook.
Just seeing the cartridges in the stores, you only see a small selection of the images that are on the cartridge. I got frustrated when I first started buying cartridges when I couldn't see what all they include.
You'll probably be pleasantly surprised at how many images a full cartridge includes when you can see the handbook page by page.
The only time I've ever bought a cartridge in a store was when I found them on clearance or a really, really good sale. Once you view the handbook then you can shop online where they're much cheaper. Ebay is a great place to find bargain cartridges.

Do you know if they've taken the digital handbooks down? I was able to download about a month ago, but now keep getting an error page no matter what cartridge I try to down load from. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.
