I'm making things for an Arts and Crafts fair and have been working on several vinyl projects. I finally took the time to get the "KISS" cut down and WOW what a difference! Makes working with vinyl SOOOO much easier. If you haven't done this yet, I suggest you do!

How are you doing it? I cut vinyl one time but it has been years ago when I first got my cricut. Please let me know how to do it right.
Thank you.

The Kiss Cut settings can vary from machine - but on the Expression it is 3-3-3 You want to just cut that top layer of vinyl, which is very thin. You do not want to cut into the backing paper underneath it. Watch some video's over at EXPRESSIONS VINYL to see how it is done. You will need some transfer tape also. Have fun 'vinyling' :)

I didn't know the KISS cut details so I just played around with it until I got it right. For my expression, I can put the blade on "1" (the shallowest cut) and then I cut using my Gypsy. I didn't adjust the pressure or speed at all.
