Ok, so I googled the crap out of this and can't find the answer.
I've been trying to update my Gypsy so I can load my new lite cartridges on it. I've been trying since last night and I keep getting stuck on the same part during the sync process:
"Installing content 1 of 2: missingFonts"
I've left the G connected to the computer to let it do its thing, but both my computer and the G have taken so long to do what they need to do that they fall alseep/go on standby and it doesn't get anywhere.
What am I doing wrong?
I'm not sure what version G I have since it's still "connected" but the Cricut Sync is up to date.
I appreciate any insight!

Have you tried connecting it to your electrical outlet? Sometimes that's all it takes to make it go on through. Don't ask me why, but others have said it works!

You also have to make sure that your firewall is turned off.

You'll need to change the power settings on your computer to make sure it's not going to sleep.
You'll find that in your Control Panel - Power Options - Change when the computer sleeps. Select Never for everything in the Plugged in column. (You can change it back after you've updated your Gypsy.)
And do make sure you have your Gypsy plugged into the power outlet while you're updating.
