Hi everyone! I bought the Expression 2 not too long ago, I'm the type who loves crafts, card making and scrapbooking, however I'm not too creative myself. A friend of mine told me about using Cricut for my projects and after doing some research online I figured why not give it a try. I absolutely love my E2 and I'm so glad I bought it! So now I have a question for you experts out there. On some of my cartridges there are borders and I would love to make a border that goes across a 12x12 cardstock background. Now when I try that I get a little stuck... How do I make the border so it goes across the 12x12 sheet? I am using CCR but I haven't been able to figure it out... Thanks for any help!!!

To make a long border use you "fit to page, or fit to length" feature. It will not be 12 inches. I do not use CCR but investigate the welding feature to make your borders longer. (I use my Gypsy, whish I love, for this feature) Good luck.

I appreciate the tips, will definitely play around with it some more :)

if you want it to be a full 12inches long, weld enough of whatever together in CCR and then rotate it so it goes across the mat at a diagonal. and you can get a full 12 inch cut other wise it will only be like 11.5 inches.

Thanks! I actually saw that trick on YouTube... sometimes I come across things that I wasn't even looking for. Thanks for the tip!
