Since I have been reading post about the Gypsy it's making me not really want one after all since alot of people have been having trouble with them not working and you can't unlink anything.
So my next step is to look more in to the Design Studio since all I really want to do is make new shape card's and so on.
So my question's are
Do you have to link anything to the Design Studio?
Is it easy to use and learn?
Can you pretty much do everything with it?

I have a Gypsy & Design Studio & love both of them. Yo do not have to link your carts to the Gypsy, that is your choice. With the Gypsy, you can design when you are away from home & then cut later. The design studio will not work with the E2, Imagine or Mini, which in my opinion is crazy as this is a much better program than CCR. I have had my G for about 2 1/2 years & don't have any trouble with it. It updates perfectly & I just love it to have to take to crops!
