Help with Vinyl Monogram size above baby's crib

Hi, I am wanting to make a vinyl letter monogram along with my son's name to put above his crib. I have an Expression 2. Is the biggest you can get the the monogram 12x12? the only thing I can think of it to use a 12x24 inch mat to make it Taller, but width will have to remain fixed at 12in. To do this, you will need to adjust the height using Cricut Craft Room or a Gypsy. If you don't want to do either, 12x12 is a great size to start with (bigger cuts are much harder to place and you absolutely should use transfer tape. see videos on you tube, lots of stuff there. HTH
