You need to register it with at Cricut.com so your warenty is started. Also after you charge it or while it hooked up to the charger you need to sync it with cricut sync that will up date it so it is curent.

 Took my Gypsy out of the box last night, charged it all night, and it won't even turn on! The blue light comes on, but the screen does not illuminate or anything. Can anyone help me? Yes, I did register it with ProvoCraft.

Make sure you're pressing the black power button on the side of the Gypsy, not the silver button on the front of the Gypsy.
