Due date: Mailed by September 15th, we're in Canada, so the mail will take at least a week to get to us, and probably closer to 2. My goal will to have everything in the mail back to you by September 30th.
Quantity: 10 of the same doll per group, as similar as possible (I know kids aren't always precise).
Size: Cut the dolls at 4 inches
Return Postage: Postage equal to amount it cost to ship to me plus 1 stamp. If you prefer a DC# then add 3 stamps and let me know. (postage can be either Canadian or American as I can mail from either). (Tracking in Canada costs $10 ... if you want to send the money I'll do it ... but I wouldn't)
Package: Put each doll in a baggie with your name/board name and group on it.

Please check in for your child every Friday.

I don't know what I was thinking to put a mail date in the middle of the week ... Just to let everyone know, I had a weird issue with the post office and Alesja's dolls were sent back, so I am going to wait until she can send them again, hopefully it won't be too long. There are also a few still missing, I'll check on them tomorrow ...

If no one minds, with the groups that do not have 10 people in them, I am just going to distribute the extra dolls amongst all the kids ... let me know if you anyone has a problem with this.

That sounds great to distribute the extras within the group. i have no problems waiting for the others to arrive. Maggie has forgotten about these so it will be a big surprise no matter when they arriveBigGrin

Ashley and Kennys were mailed out on the 14th! So hopefully you get them soon! I mailed to the canada addy cause I didn't know about the other one! Please let me know when you receive them! You do whatever you need to do with the extras I don't think the kids will mind! Thanks for hosting this swap my kids enjoyed doing the dolls!

JCI...I still have not gotten these back from the USPS. Cursing Crying I'm thinking we're going to have to remake them. I'll get on cutting out the basics now and let Alaesja assemble them when she gets home today. They will be back out to you today, Candy. I am so flustered with the darn mail. I took pictures of the ones that are lost, I'll have to upload them to my blog a little later today. Glad we have photos!! So sorry to keep all of the kiddies waiting.

I'm really not happy with PO's these days ... you would think with emails, faxes etc covering a lot of the old envelope mail, that they would try a little harder with parcels ... but the US PO sending back 5 packages for one number off in the zip (even though they managed to deliver 2 ... interestingly one of the ones they delivered was a SS swap and the return address was the same as the mailing address, so when they didn't have an address to return it to, they spent the 2 seconds looking at the other PO box with the same number at the same locationGlare ).

And I just tried to send a swap to Alberta, Canada Post doesn't like thick envelopes, so I put it in a box (about the size of the smallest standard boxes in the US) It was going to cost $14!!! ... for 60 baggies with bits of paper Glare ... so DH brought it back and I'm going to repackage in 2 envelopes and will cost under $5 ... It would have only cost ten something if I had mailed it to Canada from the US Huh

Wow, it sounds like the Canadian postal system needs a make over. I think I would stick to the US PO box as much as possible. Hopefully things will start arriving soon.

They came today YEAH ... when I read this, I decided I should double check and make sure I hadn't forgot to acknowledge them, but no, they came in today's mail ... what's that ... 21 days?

So we are just waiting on Alaesja's ... Dakota's mom said they had one set done, but she just found out she was pregnant and was too tired to help with more ... I did say to send the one that was done ... so that one may still be coming too ...

The PO box where Alaesja's were sent is only checked once a week (usually Thursday) so hopefully they will be here today ... Kaleigh and I got most of the sorting done on the weekend, so I all going well these can be mailed next week (I have a little surprise to add for the kids, and they won't be finished till Tuesday)

I just got home from a Stampin Up card making session and Alaesja dolls are here ... yeah!! I'll get everything packaged up and either get DH to mail them on Monday or Tuesday or I'll drive to Buffalo on Saturday and mail them ...

I just finished some eye surgery on Alaesja's dolls ... they didn't survive the double trip too well Laugh ...
My DH only whined a little when I asked him to drive me to Buffalo in the morning, so I'll get these in the mail tomorrow ... (it's not that I can't drive myself, but I hate driving and he loves it ... he has put over 375,000 miles on his van in 5 years ... YUCK)

This was the first swap I've hosted ... I think I have learned a lot of what not to do when sorting a swap ... my next will be much better organized ...
However I'm pretty sure I have everything packaged up correctly ... I've made a little Christmas ornament for each of the kids cause they had to wait so long ...
I'll take a picture of Kayleigh's set of the dolls and post them later.
